Friends-of structure. Gifts made to Friends of Ntshongweni Mission, Inc., a Florida nonprofit corporation (EIN 42-3267759), will be used to support the charitable, educational, and religious programs of the Ntshongweni mission in South Africa. The South African mission is not itself a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization.
Tax deductibility. Friends of Ntshongweni Mission, Inc. has been determined exempt from federal income tax under IRC Section 501(c)(3) and classified as a public charity under Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi), with an effective date of exemption of June 3, 2026 (IRS determination letter dated August 17, 2026). Contributions made on or after that date are deductible under IRC Section 170 to the extent allowed by law. The organization is also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under Sections 2055, 2106, or 2522. No goods or services. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for any donation. All gifts will be final and non-refundable once transmitted to the field. We report back with names, photos, and stories so supporters can see the impact of their giving.
State registration. We are registered to solicit charitable contributions in Florida, our state of incorporation, and are in the process of completing any required registrations in other states before broadly soliciting the public where such registration is required.
